"Innocent vampire? That's a new one for me." Fatima said. What the hell could make something that needed people for food innocent? Animal blood maybe, but animals were different than people in terms of both taste and nutrition. Furry little critters might not be able to sustain a vampire. Still, the BPRD probably wasn't letting not-yet-undead vampire go around draining people, so there was probably some alternative.
"BPRD, that must be interesting. All sorts of fun individuals trying to kill you." When the shapeshifter had first heard of the government organization, she'd been suspicious. Initial expectations had run along the same lines of the witch hunters of old, but so far they seemed more or less on the level. They hadn't organized any pograms against the abnormal inhabitants of the present age. Quite the opposite in fact, the sector offered them employment.
The tenseness was suddenly very apparent again, as the scent of vampire strengthened. As casually as possible Fatima glanced towards the bar's entrance. A group five of attractive, pale, people who looked to be in their twenties had just entered. She couldn't be absolutely sure from this distance, but they were probably the reason for the increase in stink. The loup-garous turned back to the vamp at the bar, "You expecting company?"

"I'll drink to that," Jordan mumbled, raising up her glass. She drank another sip, licking her lips. "But I guess 'innocent' is defined as someone who drinks blood from a plastic baggie." She grinned. It's what she did, too. But that was because blood was a necessity. A craving. If she let herself go too long, she was afraid she might attack someone.
"Or, I guess, someone who leaves her victims alive." She shrugged.
Jordan glanced in the same direction, spinning her stool and crossing her legs. She laughed as if someone had said something funny. "You're really funny, you know," she said, a slur in her voice, shaking her head to indicate that she didn't expect any company. She drunkenly turned the bar stool back, sort of leaning on the bar. "No idea," she said in a very quiet whisper. "If they cause any trouble..." She let the threat hang, staring at Hannah as she did.

Hannah cocked a brow at Jordan, chuckling. She pulled a worn-looking stake from her belt and twirled it around her fingers. "Look, if they cause any trouble do whatever the hell you want. At that point they're no longer 'innocents'. Though I can guarantee Manning'll be on my ass about it either way."
She sort of huffed, then turned an eye in the direction of the vampires. The woman continued to twirl the stake around her fingers; just seeing them made her blood sort of simmer. It was... well, it was unnerving, to say the least.

If they caused trouble? Fatima sized the group up out of the corner of her eye. There was no if, only when. A pack of vampires didn't go out into public like this unless there was hunting involved. One this size could easily tear apart everyone in this bar, minus herself and maybe Hannah and the Jordan. Modern age or not, blood suckers were not always subtle when hunting.
"I don't think they're here for the dollar beers." She said as her hand dropped down to her knife once again. It wasn't a large as her usual bowie knife, but much easier to conceal. Might take some doing to take one of their heads off, but it was time that she would have. A loup-garrous was much harder to kill than your average fang.
The vampires split up as soon as they hit the main part of the bar. Some went to the dance floor, while the others headed for the bar. One particularly tall and pale man ended up by Fatima on the side opposite of her current companions. If he were close enough to pick up on the presence of the other predators then things might get interesting really fast.

"Pity. Who can resist the piss-water they have here?" She grinned, watching the vamp approach the bar, pushing herself up. "Hey, cutie," she said, walking over to him and winking, placing a hand on his shoulder as she leaned against the bar. "You here for a drink. Or for a...drink." She grinned, showing off her fangs to him. She didn't have any weapons, but she knew how vampires were. So she was pretty sure between the three of them, she would be just fine without them.
Well, she hoped, anyway. Otherwise they were completely screwed...
