"Um... may I ask what your name is, sir?" Hannah asked, frowning. She continued to twirl the water around her finger absentmindedly, then glanced at her friend. She held back a coo when she saw the cat; she loved cats, she honestly did... she just hated Hellboy's cats. The annoying little monsters were always getting into her room somehow. She was beginning to suspect Red was putting them there.

Ty stifled a yawn and resisted the urge to shake the water out of his head. He stared at the cat for a minute. He liked cats, he wasn't obsessed with them, just thought they were cool. Though, when it came to having pets, he was more of a dog person. Or ferret. He simply grinned at the newcomer as Hannah asked who he was, and Ty opened his book and began to read.

John felt foolish for haven't not thought to introduce himself, but to be fair the other agents hadn't offered their names either. It wasn't unusual, BPRD agents weren't know for following proper procedure. Results were all that really seemed to matter. Only higher up like Manning really ever bitched about protocol.
"Sorry, I'm John Myers. Director of the Antarctic base."
Director was really to big of a title for his position, in fact Myers rarely used the term. Babysitter seemed much more appropriate considering his staff. The terms they used for him varied by the week -- so long as none of them made it onto official letterhead John usually didn't comment.

"Agent Hannah Wolfblood; folklore major and water manipulator." Hannah held out the hand she wasn't using to play with water to shake, grinning. She wasn't really used to seeing many higher-ups, besides the director and Hellboy, and she didn't really treat Hellboy like a higher-up. More like a buddy. Ty was actually on a higher rank then her, too, but only by one step, and probably because of his seniority to her by a couple years.

Ty looked up from his book. Truth be told, Ty wasn't much for official technicalities, like the constant respect to authority thing. He held out his free hand to shake. "Agent Ty Smith. Technology expert, dabble in folklore, specialize in close range combat, enhanced speed and reflexes." Sure, he didn't have to say all of that. 'Technology expert, enhanced speed and reflexes' would've been fine, but Ty was proud of the 'close-range combat...'

John shook both of the offer hands. The staff at this base, and most other major regional hubs, always employed a wide range of talents and specialties. Since the agency had gone public, more and more of those positions had been filled with "gifted" individuals. Unlike some of the other "ungifted" agents, Myers didn't mind. Although he might not like every person with abilities, he never saw them as being anything other than human.
"Close combat, that's impressive."
Considering this guy's size in relation to the things the BPRD fought on a regular basis Ty's enhanced speed and reflexes had to be pretty insane. I direct punch from something the size of a house was not something a guy of Ty's stature would walk away from.

Hannah nodded. "Yeah, Ty's good with that sort of thing." She gave John a light grin. "I'm more of a weapons specialist, myself." She sat back down in her chair and let out a yawn. "Well, make yourself comfortable Agent Myers. There's no telling when Abe'll be back. He might have gone out to investigate something. They don't really tell us anything if the assignment doesn't last very long."

Ty grinned, leaning against the wall. "Yeah. Pretty much all you can do is wait, and hope he gets back soon." Waiting....oh joy... Ty wasn't what one would call a patient man. He cracked open his book again, reading and at least trying to learn something useful....

The demon stuck a cigar in his mouth and set off down the hall. The equipment for their latest mission had just arrived, and if he knew Hannah at all, he knew she'd want to get a good look at the artillery. And there weren't many places she hung out before a mission, so he was going to check the library. That was the most likely spot.
His combat boots clunked on the floor as he roughly shoved his hands in his pockets. As he came to the library entrance, he saw who he was looking for in a chair right in front of him. "Hey, kid," he said, voice somewhat muffled by the unlit cigar. "New guns just arrived." He pulled a wooden match out of his pocket, lit his cigar, then took a puff on it. In his distraction, Hellboy didn't notice Myers, who was off to the side.

Liz loved her children, more than anything, but trying to watch both of them at the same time was an absolute nightmare. Teodora wanted to find her father but Liz new that HB was busy and tried to keep her daughter with her. However, being momentarily distracted by Trevor, Teo managed to escape.
Which is what lead to Liz, running through the halls of the BPRD in pursuit of a small demonic child, another demonic child following close behind her. She finally managed to catch her at the entrance to the library, scooping her daughter up in her arms. It was surprising how quickly someone so small could run.
"Teo, daddy is busy," she said, grunting slightly as Trevor collided with her leg, wrapping his arms around it. "Sorry guys," she said, noticing the group of people, Hellboy included, crowded by the entrance. "I - " she stopped when one person in particular caught her attention. "Myers? When did you get back?"

When Hellboy had come into the room and started speaking to Hannah, John had stayed in the background. Either Red hadn't noticed that he was there, or was simply ignoring his presence. Both scenarios were equally likely, and Myers wasn't about to intrude.
It all became a moot point anyway when a small child came into the room followed closely by Liz and another kid. Though the agent had been exiled to the South pole, news of the the twins birth had still reached him via Abe, so he wasn't completely surprised at the site of them.
"I'm not back," John explained, "I'm here on business."

Hannah knew it was going to get interesting when Hellboy came in. Myers had seemed reluctant to go find Abe when it had been mentioned he might be with Red, so she sank quietly back into her cushy chair and watched. This was going to be fun. Of course, when the kids and Liz came in, she knew HB would probably hold back most of his anger, but still... an interesting watch.

Ty lost interest in the book when Hellboy came in. All he said was "Hey, Big Guy." He knew things were about to get fun. When Liz walked in with the kids, he figured it wouldn't be as much fun, but it'd still be something to watch. He let the hand holding the book drop by his side as he propped himself against the wall. His eyes scanned the room, kinda hoping in the back of his mind that things would heat up.

Hellboy grinned when his daughter ran in. He placed his left hand on her head and ruffled her hair. "Hey there, Teddy Bear," he said, calling her by the nickname he always used for her. Teodora giggled.
"Myers? When did you get back?"
"Myers?" Red looked around, then finally spotted his former liaison. His face set in a frown. He didn't like Myers, not really. He still thought that John had tried to take Liz when he had been working at this base, and Hellboy was the type to hold a grudge.
"I'm not back. I'm here on business."
HB felt relieved, but was still angry. He didn't like Myers. If the kids and Liz weren't there, he wouldn't be holding back.

Seeing the frown on Hellboy's face Liz felt it best his attention was diverted away from John. She put the still wriggling Teodora on the ground and allowed her to run over to her father, quickly grabbing Trevor's hand before he could pull his sister's tale and lifting him up so he couldn't reach her.
"I'm not back. I'm here on business."
She pulled Trevor's hand out of her hair and raised an eye brow at John. "Oh?" she asked. "What kind of business?"
