Serena and Edward walked inside the Bite club, where it was known that vampires stayed and humans were willing to let them feed on them. It was about time for them to eat, and though they usually went to the jailhouse to feed off people on death row, they didn't have time for that.
It had been a few weeks since Serena and Ty had the run in with the vampire, and she was anxious to see him. She wanted to thank him for saving her life, and to ask what he had meant about losing his parents. She asked for someone to feed on and she bit into his wrist, drinking until she was satisfied. Then she sat back and watched everyone. "You eat like a bird," was all Edward said, and she smirked. So what?

Jordan sat in the back of the bar. She was sipping on a packet of blood to steady herself. A bit of blood was on her lip. She licked, looking at the two vampires a bit of the ways in front of her. She wasn't sure why, but something about them bothered her. Someone approached her. "Do you wish someone to feed on?" he asked. She looked at him. His pulsing vein, begging for her to take a bite. "No. I'm fine." She held up the package and took another drink. The blood dribbled down her chin, and she wiped it, licking it off her hand. She wasn't sure why she was here...She just liked to know where the local riff raff was and who they were.

Serena walked around aimlessly as she let the food settle. She found someone that seemed to be drinking blood as well. She walked over to her. "Hey there. You seem new." She put a smile on her face and held a hand out. "My name's Serena. Mind if I sit here? You seem alone over here. Thought you might enjoy some company." She felt comfortable for the most part, because she was among other vampires and she didn't have to worry so much about hiding what she was. She was going to spend a few minutes and then see Ty before heading home. Edward stayed back, thinking to himself.

Jordan narrowed her eyes. She half-glared at the hand that was offered. Still, the information was useful. She filed it away and leaned forward. "Terry," she said, taking Serena's hand. She shrugged. "Seat's available, I guess." She took another drink from her bag. She glanced down, seeing the blood had dripped on her shirt. She hissed, her teeth a bit elongated. They weren't as sharp as a vampires, but they would definitely tear open a throat. She looked at the girl across the table. She wondered why the girl had sat across from her, but figured she would talk if she wanted to.

Serena blinked when Terry hissed. "It's nice to meet you." Maybe she was upset that she spilled. Interesting. Of course, Edward heard her but figured she was fine. She sat down, hands on her lap. "Did you move here recently?" she asked, curious.
Edward sighed. Who was his sister talking to now? He didn't like the fact that she wanted to see Ty, but knew he couldn't stop her from doing so. She would only find a way around it. He planned to go straight home after this, but for now he sat there, having eaten the night before.

"No," she replied shortly. "I just usually don't frequent...these types of places." Her voice was dripping with contempt for the place. "Why do you ask?" In truth, she wanted to know how much the vampire knew about her. She didn't trust vampires, especially now. But she was paranoid that the vampire already knew about her. She glanced over to see the girl's brother sitting alone. "Your friend looks worried," she remarked. "Maybe you should go tell him I don't bite. Much." She smiled, her eyes glinting. She resisted the urge to let the vampire feel the bite of her wooden stake into her heart.

Serena shrugged. "Just curious, and trying to make conversation." She glanced over at Edward and rolled her eyes. "That's my brother. He's older than me by two years, and therefore overprotective." She thought, She doesn't bite, bro. and then smiled. "He won't have to worry any longer. I told him. He can read minds as long as he can see them. Though because we're related, he can read my mind whenever..." She stopped. Why was she saying all this? She shook her head slightly. "I apologize for my rambling, dear."

She shrugged. "It's all right. He reads minds?" She blinked. Then perhaps he knows what I do... she thought to herself. She smiled at him. "That's quite fascinating. I've never heard of a vampire with that ability. Does he use it often?" She needed to know this, especially if she was going to have to face them. Then again, she didn't always need a pay-check to cause her to kill a vampire. She might just make an exception, especially for these two. They seemed too dangerous to let out on the streets. Especially with Edward's...unique ability.

Serena smiled. "Yeah, he does. He ignores it for the most part, unless it's important. Just like mine. I can see into the future. Though I can't see it on myself. I can see it on Edward and everyone else." She shrugged. "Then again, there are some people he can't mind read, though we haven't met many of those."
"He has no control over what he hears. Like I have no control over what I see. All we know is that if something happened to me, his mind reading track would stop working. We don't know why. It might have something to do with the fact that he turned me." She saw Edward smile back at Terry, and she grinned. "He seems to like you a bit."

"You can see into the future? That's amazing." She shuffled this into her mind. "So you just like...touch someone...say someone who might kill you or something. Like a vampire hunter. You've heard about that new one? And then you see into your or their future?" She frowned. "I'm sorry. I think your rambling is contagious." She smiled to indicate the fact that she was joking. "He turned you? That's...interesting. Do you ever regret it? Does he?" She frowned when Serena mentioned that her brother liked her. "Really?" She bit her lip. "How can you tell?"

Serena smiled. "No, it just happens, but it can always change based on the person's decisions, you know?" She shrugged. "And I didn't know there was a new vampire hunter in town. Who is he?"
Serena looked back at Edward. "He smiled. He doesn't usually smile at strangers. He thinks you may be a good friend in the future." She crossed her legs underneath her and said, "There are times when I can see that he blames himself and he regrets it, but I don't. I couldn't stand the thought of leaving him alone. He's already been through so much."

"From what I hear, it's a girl. Her name is Jordan or something similar." She leaned back. "Apparently some vampire was too quick and sired her without making sure she was almost dead." She shook her head. "She ended up somewhere between life and undeath and is out for blood. Or so I hear." She leaned forward. "You might want to watch your back. Just saying." Leaning back, she nodded. "I suppose. I feel the same way about my mother. Though I haven't actually sired her." She shrugged. "Guess I'm just old fashioned or something." She scratched her head. So...he thinks I would be a good friend? He doesn't know me very well...

Serena thought about it for a second. There was a new vampire hunter? By the name of Jordan? She sighed. "Sometimes they can never tell the good kind by the bad kind. Thanks for the warning. I'll keep an eye out." She grinned. "You keep an eye out too, then."
Serena looked at her watch and saw that it was close to closing time. "Wow, it looks like this place is about to close. Time sure flies when having fun, I guess. Will we see you around here tomorrow or something? It would be fun to hang out." Serena hoped so.

"Thanks. I will be sure to." She smiled sort of mysteriously. Of course I'll keep an eye out. I am the one I'm warning you about. "Oh, it is? I didn't notice." She laughed lightly at Serena's joke. "I might. This place isn't a bad place to come for blood." She held up her bag in a toast. She wasn't sure that Serena would necessarily be seeing her tomorrow. It all depended on tonight. She just hoped that brother of hers wasn't too strong. She would be pushing it taking on one vampire.

Serena nodded. "No it isn't a bad place at all. Well, I'll see you around, Terry. It was nice meeting you." She walked over to Edward and tapped his shoulder. It was time for them to head out. Edward followed silently and when they reached outside, Serena debated on telling him about the vampire hunter, but decided against it. She could tell him on another night.
"Hey, I'm going to go talk to Ty, and thank him for sticking with me." Edward nodded and gave his little sister a hug. "I'll see you at home," she said before running off.
