Hive Hunt, Hive Kill
William Simms is a mad scientist, incredibly sadistic and not past animal experimentation. Recently, his secret experiments have become more and more ghastly, until they reached a climax in gene splicing and genetic mutations- and this climax was the Hive. A new species, born and bred to track and kill. The Hive, like their name suggests, share a collective mind. Many different packs connected by one central queen, who is controlled by William.
Will saw an opportunity in the creation of this species. With their heightened speed and reflexes, their expert tracking, their bodies built for killing and hunting, Simms could have everything he ever desired, using them as the muscle. He's released them upon the streets of New York City, controlling them from the main pack and living on the streets. He lets them kill pedestrians and the homeless for their meals. These creatures are hard to destroy, and are capable of breeding and bearing young extremely fast. Is there really any way to stop them?
