Sarah had been sitting in her room all day, staring at the black screen of her television set, trying to turn it on without touching it. Surely if she could manipulate technology with a slight touch of her hand, she could manipulate it with her mind right?
Wrong.
Hours ticked by slowly and still nothing so, sighing, Sarah had left the BPRD building and gone for a walk to clear her head. It really was frustrating, having to actually be in contact with the machine she was trying to manipulate, destroy or fix. Especially with the Hive creatures with their collars. If she could use her abilities long distance, she could disarm the creatures without risking her limbs. But no, didn't look like that would be possible.
Another sigh and a quick step to the side as someone on a bicyle sped past her. Stupid powers.

Evelyn was walking on the path she frequented again, small flower in hand. Like usual, she was wearing an intricate dress and no shoes. As she walked, she noticed a woman looking a bit... frustrated. The elf tilted her head to the side, wondering what was wrong.
She leaned against a tree that lined the path, frowning. She would watch. Just watch and see what happened.

Sarah sat herself down on a bench that sat alongside the path she'd been walking on and relaxed into it. It wasn't the most comfortable seat she'd ever sat in but it would suffice. She looked down at her watch and concentrated on it, not changing anything about it, merely allowing the clockwork to fill her head, to see how it worked, to see what she could change if she wanted to.
She sighed and shoved her hand into her pocket. And therein lay the problem. She couldn't manipulate technology if she couldn't see how it worked, and she couldn't see how it worked if she wasn't connected to it in some way... part of the circuit so to speak. Bugger.
