Arty reverted back to his werewolf form, trying to keep up with Evelyn.
Meanwhile, Chase was walking, trying to find Arty's scent. He had to tell his friend what had happened. His blue eyes scanned the area as his highly sensitive nose sniffed for the werewolf.

Evelyn looked up, seeing the dingo. It was the same scent as the one on the squirrel. She grinned, sabres shining in the light. "I think I found him, Artemis!" she said, voice bubbly. The elf immediatly shifted to her natural form, beaming.

Arty smiled when she said she found him. Chase and Arty then saw each other. They ran to each other, and Arty tossed him the squirrel. Chase promptly ate it looking up at Arty, with his now bright blue eyes.
"Chase? What's wrong with your eyes, buddy?" "Oh...some bloke kidnapped me, gave me a shot, and now I'm fast, durable, and have blue eyes. AND I MET A GIRL." "Nice," Arty said. "Too bad you have no chance. Oh, I'd like to introduce you to Evelyn." Chase nodded. "It's a pleasure."

Evelyn smiled, pink eyes shining. "It's wonderful to meet you, too, Chase," she said. She felt sort of touched to see the two friends reunited; she hadn't seen anything like this since she had moved to New York. "I'm glad to see you've found eachother." After a small pause, she murmured, "I'll leave before I become a bother." She twirled around and turned to go.

Arty turned to stop her. "Wait," he said. "You're not a bother. You don't have to go. You can stay if you like."
"Well...I'm actually going to go take a nap..." Chase said.

Evelyn looked back, a small smile forming on her face. "Really?" she said, eyes softening. "That's awfully sweet of you, Artemis." She turned back fully, dress twirling around her legs. She wasn't used to people being nice to her; she usually just helped them out and then left. They'd never stopped her from leaving before.

The werewolf smiled at Evelyn while Chase curled up under a tree. "Really," he said.
"That's awfully sweet of you, Artemis." He was speechless for a few moments. In his entire life, he'd been called everything but sweet. "...Thanks," he said, pulling the matchbook out of his pocket and fidgeting with it.
"Oh, brother..." Chase muttered.

"...Thanks."
Evelyn giggled at his speachlessness, somewhat amused. She watched as he fidgeted with his matchbox, wondering if he was planning to set something else on fire. She hadn't ever realized it before, but the fire held a kind of attraction to her. Evelyn liked fire. She made note of how his fingers moved.

Arty looked at her, noticing she had her eye on his matchbook. He took out a match, lighting it, and letting the flame just burn a minute, putting it out when it got almost to his clawed werewolf fingers.
A sly grin crept upon his face. Some guy with a mullethawk was approaching. Arty lit a match, holding it to the back of the guy's hair as he walked by. Soon, it was a nice flame as the mullethawk went up in smoke, and the poor sap started running and screaming. Arty laughed. Meanwhile Chase had gone to sleep, and was dead to it all.

Evelyn watched as the match burned, fascinated by the flickering little light. She giggled when he set the man's mullethawk on fire. "That's still not very nice," the elf teased, moving a lock of hair behind her pointed ear.

Arty shot her a playful grin, which still looked menacing in his wolf form. The poor man had managed to put the fire out, but his mullethawk was now singed off. Arty chuckled. "Maybe not." He turned human again. He didn't know why, he just did. "But it's still funny." He winked.

Evelyn blushed and winked back. Then, she frowned. "I really should get home, now," she said. "I need to get some sleep." The elven woman drooped a bit; she didn't want to leave Artemis.

Arty's smile dropped when she frowned. "I really should get home, now. I need to get some sleep." Arty put the matches away and let out a sigh. He didn't want her to leave yet. She was the only friend he had besides Chase.
"Hey, Chase and I can walk with you.....if you want."
Chase opened an eye, "No thanks. I'm beat...I'll be here when you get back." Then, he went back to sleep.
"Well...I guess...I can."

Evelyn immediately brightened, eyes shining. "I'd love that," she said, her beautiful smile returning. "Come on." And with that, she turned, leading the way to her house.

Arty smiled, his eyes showing true happiness, something Arty hadn't felt in centuries. He caught up to Evelyn, walking alongside her and slipping his hand around hers as he walked her home.
Meanwhile, Chase was still under the tree, snoring loudly.
