And not to pull your halo down Around your neck and tug you off your cloud But I'm more then just a little curious How you're planning to go about making your amends
To the dead.
Midnight. Pitch-black sky, cool air waving through her ghost-white fur. Precious smiled slightly, her eyes closing somewhat in pure bliss. Even though she had been granted freedom a few weeks ago, it would still amazingly wonderful to be outside. Especially with William.
Especially when hunting.
She cast her eyes over to him, then behind her, to the legions of soldiers following them. Her Hive brethren; her subjects. This time, they would not fail. Not with her there to command. A purr rumbled in her chest just by thinking about it.
No one would forget this night.
With your halo slipping down.... Your halo slipping down... To choke you now.

William walked alongside Precious, a sick grin on his face. This time would be different. He looked down at Precious. With her here, the BPRD wouldn't stand a chance in hell. And, this time, under his jacket, he had a pistol. If Ty even got within ten feet of him, William would shoot him. Plain and simple.
He stopped when the building came into sight. All he said was. "It is time..."

Precious smiled and stopped beside him, staring at the building ahead of her. After a moment or two, she said one word and one word only.
"Go."
They swarmed, running at the building from all sides and all angles. Some had been injected with the speed serum; these ran up the walls and burst into the higher levels of the building. There was absolutely no where they couldn't get to, now. And every last one of them let out their battle cry.
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"

Ty was sound asleep, then popped up when he heard it.
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Ty popped up, and there was something in his bed with him. A Hive, whom he assumed to be Cass.
"Cass...get outta my bed--" Then he got a good look. This WASN'T Cass.
He jumped out of bed, grabbing his dagger.
Meanwhile, William just stood outside, watching with that twisted, sadistic grin plastered on his face.

Cass was sleeping under the bed, when she heard a sound. Jumping out in time to hear Ty say something to it, assuming it was her, she grew worried that her 'Master' would get hurt.
Cass snarled as she hurtled her body at the thing, aiming her teeth to its throat. As she flew, she yelled out, "Run, Ty!"
She wouldn't know if it hit or not. She could only hope...

Sleeping had been hard since the last Hive attack on the BPRD building. Liz had taken to tossing in her sleep, often waking herself up in the process, afraid to get to comfortable should the Hive return. The twins as well hadn't felt safe in their own beds and had now slept with Liz and HB more often than not. Liz didn't mind though, the closer her children were too her, the better she felt.
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Liz sat straight up in her bed at the screeching noise, praying it was just a nightmare. But she knew it wasn't, the noise was still echoing around her and the twins were now awake too, clinging to her in fear. Taking a deep breath, Liz flung the covers back and picked up her children, dragging them to their allotted hiding place in the back of the room.
"Red?" she called back to him, hoping he hadn't actually slept through that horrific noise.
The screeching forced Sarah awake instantly and she wasted no time, leaping out of bed and pulling some sort of semblance of clothes on. She grabbed her guns and knives, which she had started keeping nearer her bed since the last two incidents, and bolted out the door.

Jordan woke with a start. Warning bells were going off in her head as she heard something outside. She took a deep sniff and could smell something that didn't seem right. She yanked at the handcuffs that bound her, sighing. "I guess I have to..." she muttered to herself. She lifted a hand to her hair and found a hairpin. She always kept one in her hair, but had been too injured to really do anything about it earlier. Working quickly, she was able to get the handcuffs off her. She walked over to the cell and easily picked the lock. Her cult days had at least taught her something. She stuck the pin in her mouth and ran towards the smell as quickly as she could, her boots thumping heavily on the floor. She looked up and saw a window. She backed up and ran, pushing herself up the wall and gripping the edge of the window. With a grunt of effort, she pushed herself up. She pulled her arm back and punched through the window, breaking it. She wiggled through, ignoring as the glass cut into her skin. It hurt, but she couldn't risk taking the time to bandage herself. Something was wrong. And even though she didn't like these people...they were still innocents.

Marcus froze. He had been walking through the park when he saw them. They were just standing out in the open, seemingly searching for something, or someone. Marcus rapidly went through his options, and had decided to go out and attack the doctor's lab while he was seemingly unprotected. He'd gone to the BPRD to fetch Sarah and hopefully anyone else who would listen...
When he'd arrived, he'd seen the Hive attacking and realized that the doctor had something else on his mind and that definitely didn't concern what was going on in Central Park. Making sure not to be seen, he ran around to the other side of the building. Using an escape ladder, he climbed up to the top of the building and ran over to where the sleeping quarters were.
Coming across a skylight, he didn't hesitate in shattering the glass. An alarm went off somewhere, and Marcus hoped that would alert anyone else that hadn't already heard the Hive attacking. He quickly jumped down into the building. He turned to see a door opening and Sarah emerge. "Sarah! The Hive are here! Alert everyone else, and try to lock down the building!" he yelled.

The Hive in Ty's bed let out a hiss and turned its head with lightning reflexes. This was one of the ones that had been injected with the serum. He jumped down, turning to look at Cass.
"You... us," it growled to her, in a somewhat confused manner. "But cannot feel you. Cannot feel you in head." He shook his head back and forth, tilting it to the side somewhat.
Hannah was roughly awoken, again, by the noise. She knew she was in danger, as were her coworkers and whatever nearby innocents there might be, but all she could really think was,
"GOD FUCKING DAMNIT, I'M TRYING TO SLEEP."
The woman growled and got up, dressing and equipping herself with ever piece of weaponry she had in her room (which was everything she was allowed to have... and then some). She cracked her knuckles and opened the door, just in time to see about five of the Hive run past. Or... blur past. Had they gotten faster since last time? She bit her lip.
Aw, hell, this wasn't good at all...
Red woke with a start at the noise, sitting up abruptly. Normally, he would have slept through something like that. But after the last attack, he'd started sleeping lighter. Much lighter. He rubbed his head, still half asleep.
"Red?"
That woke him up. He got out of bed, looking around. "Hide the kids..." he murmured in a serious tone.

Ty grabbed his stuff, putting his belt on over his plaid pajama pants, which he'd cut into shorts. He had on no shirt, and was wearing a pair of neon-green socks. His hair was a mess, and all he wanted to do was go back to sleep.
His eyes locked onto the new Hive. Something didn't seem right...how did it... Then, it hit him. The first time the Hive attacked, William took his blood. He must have found a way.... That staggered him. If they could run up walls, they were probably much faster.
"Cass! You handle this one! I gotta help the others!" He took off as fast as he could. He stood in the hallway, gun in one hand, dagger in the other.

Jordan managed to pull herself all the way out of the window and onto the grass. She pushed herself onto her knees, lifting a hand to her side. It came away bloody, and she lifted it to her lips, licking it tentatively. She needed blood. She stuck her fingers, sucking on them, taking another whiff. She could smell a human. And he smelled delicious.
She stood up, eyes searching in the dark. Her night vision wasn't quite that of a vampire. But she could see his figure. Smiling to herself, she tapped into her vampiric speed and sped towards him, fangs bared. She couldn't wait to sink her teeth into his pale skin.

Abe was busying himself with reading one of his vintage books when he heard the ghastly nonhuman battlecry. Of course, the menacing scream became diluted when it entered his tank, but its promise of bloodshed was still potent. The icthyo sapien knew the Hive had returned to wreak havoc once again.
Moving hastily, Abe exited his tank and grabbed the saber he used against the unique killing-machines in the previous battle. Ensuring his aquatic breathing apparatus was comfortably in place and gaining a better grip on the saber, the blue man quickly rushed out from the library.
"I must not hesitate and move with swiftness!" He muttered under his breath.

Precious felt her muscles tense up as she saw someone running towards them. Her lips curled up into a grin, her sharp teeth gleaming in the dim light. Here was her chance for action!
In the blink of an eye, she launched herself, front legs outstretched in a position to pin Jordan down. Her mouth open in a screech.

Cass snorted through her nose at the other Hive. "Disconnected. Comes in handy at times like this." She heard Ty and focused on the Hive in front of her.
"You ready to fight?" With that, she snarled and ran at him as fast as she could as Ty went out of the room. She could only hope that she could win this fight.

Jordan saw it coming at the last second. She fell back, pinned by the giant dog-like creature. She put an arm up to block the creature's teeth, just in case. She tried to throw it off with her other arm, grunting with effort. But she was low on blood and weaker than normal. Plus, her one arm was preoccupied.
She needed help. She just hoped someone would come before it killed her. Twice.
