Hannah frowned, thinking for a moment. "Well, he's my bro," she said, finally. "I wanna go out and help him." Her eyes shimmered slightly. Ty had always been the closest thing to family she'd had, ever since they had both arrived at the BPRD as kids. She didn't want to see him hurt. Just the thought of it made her hands clench tighter on the harpoon.
But she couldn't help it; her mind also drifted bast the thought of Abe. He had done well last time... hell, he had saved her life last time. She frowned deeper, wondering if he was alright.
The queen didn't expect it when Ty tackled her, and she wasn't prepared. Her sabres ripped out of Jordan's flesh and she rolled with Ty, letting out a yowl of pure rage. She pushed him off of her and stood. The fur on her neck stood up in her anger.
Hellboy made his way down the hall, looking for any signs of life. Hive were blurring past him, paying him no attention. "Did these things get faster?" he murmured to himself. That's when he heard it.
"Damnation! I...need help!"
Well, that pissed him off. He made his way towards Abe's yell, every fiber of every muscle in his body tensed with rage. When he saw the Hive, he made no hesitation. He just shot it in the back of the skull.
"You alright, Abe?"
The Hive let out a squeal as Cass bit into its shoulder. He growled and threw his wieght on to her, trying to get his claws into her flesh every way he could.

Ty rolled to his feet when he hit the ground after being pushed off. His pistols were on his belt and he still held his dagger. He stared down the white Hive. "Um....Jordan, ain't it?" he said, his gaze not moving from the Hive. "First, are you okay? Second, how'd you get out? And third," he tossed her a gun. "Here..."
Meanwhile, William stood ready, cane in one hand, the other ready to go for his own gun if need be.

Jordan sat up and put a hand to the hole in her shoulder. A bit of flesh had been ripped off when the creature was thrown off her. She nodded. "I'm...fine. I just need some blood..." She lifted her hand and licked it off. It was the best she could do on short notice.
"You wouldn't happen to have one of those packets, would you?" she panted. She caught the gun and fired it at the creature before pressing the barrel to her shoulder. She hissed at the pain as part of the wound was cauterized.

"I suppose," Abe spoke, hastily standing upright. "I think it's only a very minor injury."
Making his way next to Hellboy, the blue humanoid continuously scrutinized their surroundings. He didn't desire themselves to be caught off guard. Gripping onto the saber, Abe turned his attention to his half-demon comrade.
"We need to meet up with the others! Our odds of success will greatly increase if we stand together."

"Well, he's my bro, I wanna go out and help him."
Sarah nodded. "Good," she said. "I guess we do have some kind of plan then." She took another look around the corner and saw the coast was clear. "I'll see if I can find anyone else in here, you go and help Ty out there..." she pulled out another gun, feeling more secure with a machine in each hand. "Guess I'll see you later then."
Giving the others a small smile, she took off down the hall, shooting at anything that looked green and/or dog like.

Cass dodged one of the claws, but one of them hit her in the leg, and cut deeply. She howled, wishing that this Hive member would just drop dead. She knew it wouldn't happened and she growled. She swiped at the Hive's head, hoping to get him off of her and snarled, making her back claws trying to dig into his back legs. She didn't have much more energy, and she hoped he didn't find out.

Hannah watched Sarah leave, then took off in the direction Ty had gone, both mind and heart racing with anticipation of what was to come. She had this feeling in her stomach that something big was about to happen, and she swallowed. She decided to drop the harpoon, instead getting out her favorite revolver.
Precious yowled and dodged the bullet, eyes becoming trained on both the guns as she did so. A few of her subjects took places beside her, completely ready to die for her, and she couldn't help but smirk at the fact. This was what she was born to do! Lead an army of her species in a war against people... And then, she and her William- and her Chase- could rule this god-forsaken little city. Who could stop them? Not even the BPRD had been able to, as of yet. And, by the looks of it, they'd never be able to...
If only Chase could have been there to see her in her moment of glory.
"I suppose. . . We need to meet up with the others! Our odds of success will greatly increase if we stand together."
Hellboy nodded, looking around for any more of the giant cats. His right fist clenched and unclenched. "Alright," he said gruffly. "You lead the way. I'll watch your back."
The Hive grinned down at Cass, though her claws did rake his flesh, and dug his front claws into her shoulders. "Calm down," he growled. "This only hurt little." At that, he grinned wider, showing off just about every tooth in his mouth the he could.

Ty knew what had to be done and held his weapon firm. Meanwhile, William shifted the cane to his left hand, putting his weight on it. His right hand went for the gun, gripping it tightly.
Ty aimed and fired his gun, but William had his out and fired too. The shots echoed through the air, both men staggering. William's bleeding right hand dropped the weapon, and Ty staggered to his knees, dropping his gun to put his hand on his bleeding left shoulder.
Ty hissed in pain, letting out every cuss word he knew, and when he ran out, he made some up. William just stared at his bleeding hand. He'd never been wounded before. It was so...interesting. No matter how bad it hurt.

Jordan sort of shuddered, smelling the blood from both the wounds. She tried to push the thought aside, gritting her teeth. Her fangs were bare as she ground her teeth, staring at William, the enemy. Well, mostly at his hand. The blood dripping from his hand...She licked her lips slowly and narrowed her eyes.
She sped for him, firing sort of wildly at Precious. She wasn't really aiming, just thinking about sinking her fangs into William's flesh. She could almost taste the blood.
Chika had woken up when she heard the gunshots. She shot out of bed and pressed her face to the window. Her nostrils caused fog against the window. Her golden eyes widened as she saw Ty get shot.
"TY!" she yelled out--well, yelled for her--hitting her small fists against the window. Her ears flattened as she got off of the bed, still in her nightie.
She padded down the steps, looking to see if anyone was inside. Tears stung her eyes as she looked around, confused. She wasn't sure if she should go outside or stay in. So she pressed her face to a nearby window and waited.

Marcus was torn between following Sarah or the other woman. As he let them both take off in their separate directions, he realized he'd be better off getting wherever he was going on his own. Finally, Marcus started to walk in the direction the other woman had ran in, but his pace slowed and slowed. Soon enough, he came to a halt.
It felt like a wall inside of him was about to burst; all the emotion was coming in a seeming rush, and it had been so long that Marcus didn't know how to deal with it. The sorrow of his friend's death came first, but the anger that came afterwards overpowered it. He punched the wall next to him in frustration. "I'm gonna watch that motherfucker die, and I'm gonna enjoy every single second of it!" he affirmed quickly.
Marcus didn't have a plan anymore: he was being driven by the one thing that was completely alien to him. But it didn't matter; he gunned his way in the direction the other woman had gone. But he didn't go down the stairs. Instead, he turned to one of the doors and kicked it in, sending the door off its hinges. Marcus kept the momentum and leapt through the window overlooking the fight.
He landed as gracefully as he could, rolling over to lessen the impact. He sprug up at fired blindly in the direction of the doctor.

Sarah's banadaged arm began to throb with a dull pain, despite the fact that it the wound was almost entirely healed. She was sure it was just psychological, her brain freaking out because the creatures that had caused the wound were now back. But still, it was rather irritating having to move her arm more slowly than normal, especially when the Hive had evidently gotten faster. It was just asking for trouble.
Eventually, Sarah crashed into a room filled with human BPRD agents, but no Hive... any more. Some were bleeding, one looked beyond help, and the others looked exhausted. The woman pressed her lips together in thought, obviously these people needed medical attention, but the medical bay was on the other side of the base, and it would be too dangerous to move them. "Alright," she said, rolling up invisable sleeves. "What have we got?"
Meanwhile, things where Liz was were quiet. Too quiet in her opinion, but she wasn't going to complain about not being torn apart by genetically engineered animals. Behind her, the children's frightened sounds were quieting, though they could still hear what was going on elsewhere in the base, the fact that the danger was else where seemed to calm them.
Cautiously, Liz stepped towards the door and pulled it open a crack, peering out into the hall. Nothing. Not even a kitten. Obviously the Hive had decided there were easier things to attack than whatever lay behind the door. And Liz wasn't sure if that was a good thing or not. True neither she nor the twins were in any immediate danger, but Red was, and she was not really in the mood to lose him any time soon.
Something brushed past her leg, and at first Liz thought it was one of HB's many cats, but when she saw Trevor take off down the hall, she could do nothing but stare open-mouthed at her son. What the hell was he doing?!
"Trevor!" she called, the boy hesitated but did not turn around, his pace only slowing. "TREVOR BRUTTENHOLM-SHERMAN YOU GET BACK HERE RIGHT NOW!"
For the first time that Liz could recall, Trevor directly disobeyed her. He took off down the hall as fast as his little legs could carry him. Over come with a mixture of shock and anger, Liz ran to the back of the room, gathered Teodora into her arms and sprinted after her son.

When Abe heard Hellboy's compliance with his suggestion, the blue man nodded and began running toward where he believed their comrades were at. It honestly surprised Abe how nimble and quick he was on land, but he didn't dwell on it. Turning around a corner, he spotted the first of their friends...and he felt relief and warmth flood his being.
"Hannah!" He called to her. "Over here!" He then gestured to himself and his red half-demon ally.
He attuned his senses to their surrounding, for an attack might come at any given moment. The Hive were a species of unique and powerful predators, and were not to be taken lightly.

Cass only growled deeper and whined as the claws cut into her shoulder. She kicked out, hoping to hit a soft spot and biting at whatever she could. She rolled away and got back on her feet, glaring. She limped towards the other Hive and growled, baring her teeth right on back. "You leave. Not welcome." Then, she gave a little howl and attacked again as best as she could. She snapped at the other's shoulder.

Hannah continued running, slowing only to catch her breath once or twice. Her mind practically flooded with an unexpected relief, however, when she heard:
"Hannah! Over here!"
Her relief surprised herself, but she couldn't help but grin. "Abe!" she said, running to him and pulling him into a quick hug. She frowned, then, finger stroking across her revolver. "We gotta get outside. The scientist is out there with his little pets, I think, and... we just gotta get outside. Ty's out there."
Precious yowled and pushed William down into safety from the other bullets. No, no one could hurt her William, not while she was there. She let out the loudest, shrillest call she could muster at the attackers.
"SCREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!"
Hellboy grinned at Hannah, unable to help the pull of amusement in his stomach at seeing her and Abe together. But this was a serious matter; no time for laughing. Her bro, one of his best friends, was outside with the same guy who's head Hellboy would just love to bury a bullet in. One of his special bullets, just in case.
"Lead the way, Splash."
The Hive let out a scream as his shoulder was bitten into, and in a rage he rammed towards the nearest wall, attempting to slam her into it and perhaps injure her head. He had wanted to simply overpower her at first, but now... Now he wouldn't rest until she lay dead. It wasn't a conscious decision, though; he was just an animal, after all. He was just following what his animal mind said to do.

Ty, unable to stand from the pain, grabbed a throwing knife from his belt and lay on the grass, eyes ever alert. Foolish move to most, but Ty had a hole-ridden wall across the room from his bed with a target drawn on it. In fact, he could throw better lying down.
William had anticipated the cry, even the push out of the way. As long as Precious was around, he was all but untouchable. He smirked and pulled a pen from his shirt pocket with the hand that wasn't bleeding. He clicked the pen, a flamethrower, aiming at each of his adversaries. Ty was lying down, so it just burned the tip of his nose.
"Ow... dammit..." Ty hissed.
((OOC: Anyone outside besides the hive has to respond to this. You MAY dodge, but someone has to get hit. :'D))
