The Hive took Cass's attack head-on, yowling in rage. He swiped a clawed, paw-like hand at her head in a slapping sort of motion, then aimed his sabers at the back of her neck.
---
Precious gave Jordan a look of contempt, flexing her claws on the woman's arm. "And what," she growled, licking her lips, "do you think you're doing near my William, hmm?" The queen could feel every muscle in her body straining to kill this girl, but she had to wait. Savor it.

"Sarah! The Hive are here! Alert everyone else, and try to lock down the building!"
Sarah froze as she emerged from her room and turned in surprise to find that guy... who's name she still didn't bloody know... standing in the hallway.
"Thanks captain obvious," she snapped before taking a deep breath and composing her self. She should be taking her stress out on the cat-dogs, not on people who were trying to help. "Sorry," she mumbled. "How did you -?" she cut off her question as she noticed the glass on the floor. She looked up and saw the skylight smashed in and shook her head. "Lock down the building with a hole in the ceiling. You love making things easy for me, don't you?"
She took off down the hallway, towards the others' rooms. In all honesty, she was sure that the screeching together with the alarm had every one aware of what the hell was going on. But just in case, she had to make sure. She skidded to a halt suddenly, just managing not to collide with Ty who was standing in the hallway. She frowned at him. "You alright?"
"Hide the kids..."
"That's what I'm doing," Liz said, as calmly as she could, before turning her attention back to her children. Tears were streaming down their faces but they were silent which was good. The less attention they drew to themselves the easier they would be to hide. She glanced towards the the vault like door that had been replaced since the last attack, and was pleased to see it seemed to still be unharmed.
"It's going to be okay," she whispered to the twins, giving them a reassuring smile.[/color]

She hissed slightly and gritted her teeth. She gave the thing a half-grin. "Your William?" she asked. "How cute." She grunted and tried to shove Precious off her again. "I was just going to take a...taste. He smells so delicious."

Hannah readied the... what exactly was she holding? She hadn't really noticed everything she had picked up. The woman glanced down at the thing in her hands. A harpoon.
"...where the hell did I get a... I guess it's best not to think about it." She frowned and stepped out into the hallway, seeing Ty and Sarah further down, and... some other dude. She trotted over to them. "We got a plan?" she asked, glancing back and forth.

William laughed at what had happened. "Silly silly vampire," he teased.
Ty looked at Hannah, not happy in the least. "The plan? I'll tell you the plan." He cocked his pistol. "You guys keep everyone inside and safe. Ima go pop a clip of bullets in a sick bastard." With that, he turned and ran outside, gun ready.

"You won't think I'm so silly when I rip apart your little pet and then tear into your throat," she threatened. She twisted her hips and managed to get her leg into a position where it could do some damage. She shoved upwards, hoping to apply enough force to send it flying.

Marcus watched the man Sarah had ran to, and he instantly recognized him as Ty. He watched as he ran out to confront the scientist. <About time someone did something,> he thought silently.
He turned to Sarah and the other lady, whom he hadn't recognized. "Well, he's gonna do something, and I think we should too. We have to stop these monsters before they seriously harm someone, and we can't help anyone up here." He pulled out an extra gun and tossed it to the woman with the harpoon and said, "This will probably work better. We need to go after the sick bastard whose controlling him too, but first I think we should go help the people those creatures are attacking."

"We got a plan?"
Sarah turned to Hannah and shrugged. "I..." she frowned and looked down at the weapon in her hands. "Is that a harpoon?"
"The plan? I'll tell you the plan." Sarah looked at Ty questioningly. "You guys keep everyone inside and safe. Ima go pop a clip of bullets in a sick bastard."
"Ty that's not a - " she sighed as he ran outside, and put a hand over her eyes. "He's going to get himself killed."
"Well, he's gonna do something, and I think we should too. We have to stop these monsters before they seriously harm someone, and we can't help anyone up here."
Sarah nodded and checked to make sure she'd remembered all her extra ammo. She watched as Dude-face, as he was now going to be known until she learnt his real name, gave Hannah an actual gun as opposed to a harpoon. "Well, my plan is to shoot anything that looks like a dog, and keep shooting until they're all dead... not too detailed I know, but it's the best I've got."

She watched as Ty left, sighing. He was such an idiot sometimes... but she knew there wouldn't be anything she could say that would stop him.
"Is that a harpoon?"
Hannah frowned. "Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where this came from... I figured it's best not to think about it." She then turned to Marcus, rejecting his offer of the gun. "Dude, the holsters on my belt aren't just for show." She gave him a quick grin.
Hellboy nodded to Liz, then grabbed his gun from the bedside table. He walked to the door, opened it, then looked back to her.
"I'll be back." Then he left, shutting the door behind him.
The queen yowled when she was kicked, her head snapping downwards. She grabbed Jordan's shoulder in her mouth and bit down hard, her sabers sinking straight through.

Cass twisted, hoping to get the sabers away from her neck. It didn't hit the vitals, but she howled still. Then she twisted, biting at the other Hive's shoulder. She didn't know what else to do, but she had to find a way to protect Ty, even if it killed her. Her eyes flashed as she went to bite down again.

Jordan let out a scream as the creature sank its teeth clean through her shoulder, breaking through her collar bone with one of its sabers. She tried to shove it off of her, her head spinning. It really hurt, but not enough to kill her. Maybe...maybe if it killed her, she could take it.
She lifted her other arm, trying to shove out the sabers, but a part of her knew it was hopeless. It was just too strong.

Abe encountered some Hive resistance here and there, and efficiently dispatched them just the same. However, now it seemed some of the creatures had gained the upper-hand. Although the blue humanoid managed to kill two of the Hive attacking him, he never anticipated the assault of the third one. It bit into his leg, growling savagely.
"Damnation!" Abe yelped. "I...need help!"

Ty looked and saw William, but closer to him, a white Hive was attacking someone. The white one was strangely beautiful, but he recognized the girl. The one that was supposed to be in the cell.
Ty sighed. Sure, she escaped...but I've got to do something.
Ty took off full-speed, throwing his weight into the White Hive. He hoped it would at least do some good.

Marcus smiled at the woman. "Alrighty. Should have guessed," he chuckled, taking back the gun. "That's definitely on our to-do list," he said to Sarah. "But I was kinda hoping for something more detailed. Ah well..."
He looked at the two of them and said, "How rude of me, I haven't introduced myself. I can't see any harm in giving you my name now since either way this looks like it'll end tonight; the name's Marcus." He motioned to the door and asked, "Shall we head out now? I think we're needed elsewhere, and I'm just dying to give that bastard a taste of his own medicine..."

"Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where this came from... I figured it's best not to think about it."
Sarah nodded. "Good call," she said. Wondering about the origins of strange weapons was just asking for trouble.
"Yeah, I'm not exactly sure where this came from... I figured it's best not to think about it."
She shrugged at him. "Hey, I never pretended to be a great strategist," she pointed out. "I just shoot things and mess with machines."
Marcus, she thought when he'd finally introduced himself. Well, that wasn't as interesting to say as "Dude-face" but it was simpler. "Alright, Marcus," she said, peeking around the corner again and ducking back quickly, thinking she saw a blur of green. "I'm going to go this way, and shoot things, I need to make sure everybody else is alright, we've got non-gifted agents here as well and they're at risk. Feel free to venture outside and give Ty a hand..." she turned to Hannah and raised an eye brow at her questioningly. "What about you?"
Liz heard Red pick up his gun from the bedside table and turned to see him opening the door. She watched him worriedly as he announced he would be back and left. "Stay safe," she whispered under her breath before turning back to the twins. Part of her wanted to go after him and back him up. But she knew she had to look after the twins. Thankfully there were no windows to this room. There was only one way in or out. She stepped away from the kids and allowed a hot, blue flame to creep up her arms as she faced the door.
