Jordan, on the other hand, wasn't thinking terribly straight. She only had a moment to really realize that he had been pushed down and adjust herself, and another second to process the flamethrower. However, she didn't react fast enough. She got the full blast in her chest and was blown back, falling on her back. Her chest was covered in black, charred flesh. However, she wasn't completely down for the count. Sure, she had just gotten third degree burns and first and second around her arms and stomach and neck, but she could survive it. Assuming she survived the rest of the attack and could have the rest of her skin grafted. Blood could only do so much, though blood would allow her to move a little.
She coughed, trying to move, but everything burned. Her gun lay where she had been standing before she had been thrown back. Her eyes slid shut as she realized something quite obvious. She. Was. Screwed.

Marcus saw the flame thrower being whipped out, and he instantly dived for cover. Thankfully, it missed him, really only singing his head and back, and lightly at that. Marcus turned to see a woman get hit full blast by the flame thrower, and balked. <I can't let this son of a bitch kill another fucking person, not again!> he vowed.
Marcus stood up and made a dash towards the woman. He reached her, and in one fluid motion scooped her up and kept running. Marcus fired a few shots in William's direction as he ran away, but he didn't expect any to hit. All he was concerned about was not letting another person die because of that mad man's insanity. Marcus rounded a corner and laid the woman down. "Talk to me! What do you need?" Marcus asked quickly.

Liz was in full panic mode. She wasn't running as fast as she wished she was, due to the fact that she had Teodora in her arms. Thankfully the girl wasn't struggling, and was instead clutching her mother tightly, still and quiet.
Trevor had gotten a fair way ahead of her, and had disappeared around a corner. When she too managed to round it, she found her son standing over the unconscious body of one of the hive, fist clenched and face determined. If she hadn't known better, she would have said Trevor had knocked it out himself. But he couldn't do that. Could he?
"Trevor?" she said tentatively. Maybe now that he had stopped he'd have calmed down, and she could convince him to come back to the safety of their room. But no, he took one look at her and took off again. "Trevor! Where on earth are you going?!"
That stopped him, for a moment at least, and he turned back to her. "To help Daddy," he said, as if it were the most obvious thing in the world.
Liz's eyes widened as he began running again. "Don't you dare!" she said, but he wasn't listening again. "Do you know what's gotten into him?" she asked, looking at her daughter questioningly. Teodora simply shook her head, and Liz went back to chasing her son. It seemed he was heading in the direction of outside. Was Red even out there? She knew what was, though, and she did not want her son trying to take them on.[/color]

Upon hearing Hellboy's words, Abe nodded and immediately began trekking to the outside of the building.
Gripping his saber tightly, and looking back to ensure Hannah and Hellboy's presence, they finally exited into the grounds.
"Where are they...?" Abe contemplated aloud.

Hannah burst outside alongside Abe, her head whipping this way and that as she searched for Ty. She spotted him, finally, laying in a torched area of grass. Marcus was nowhere in sight, but Hannah didn't hold much concern for him; she'd just met him, and he could take care of himself just fine.
What she saw next, however, made her blood run cold. A beautiful-- terrifyingly beautiful-- Hive, white and blue, had just stood from a crouch and was stalking its way towards Ty like a hunter to prey. Without giving her companions even a bit of warning, she took off in a run towards her bro. Hellboy, dumbfounded, could only watch her go.
Precious snarled. This man was going to ruin everything, everything in their plans and their future. He had to die. He had to be ripped apart bit by bit, bleeding and choking, until she finally gave him mercy and killed him. And then she would devour him. The Hive queen laughed at the thought. Preparing herself for the first leap, she crouched just a few feet in front of him.
She sprang.
Hannah screamed in protest, sliding in front of the beast just in time to block her from Ty. She aimed her revolver and shot, clamping her eyes shut.
Precious's mind went blank for a moment, before the pain in her neck exploded and made itself known. She let out a gargled choke, flailing about, but her momentum still carried her forwards. She landed on top of the woman that had shot her, knocking them both over. She floundered a bit more, dragging herself off, before finally collapsing next to the girl.
What was going on? What had happened? Surely... surely everything was okay. Precious gasped loudly, trying to get air into her lungs, trying to get this drowning feeling to go away.
Every Hive on the compound froze, looking in the direction their queen lay. Even the ones inside, the ones that couldn't see her, turned their heads towards her.

Ty blinked, rolling over to look to his right, which had been like a blind spot. He looked up to see Hannah. Shortly behind her, was the body of the white hive. He hopped to his feet, the pain really not bothering him anymore. He looked her in the eyes. "You...you....damn...." was all he could say.
William gripped his cane, in a state of disbelief. She was...no...it couldn't be. Could it? He walked over, picking up the lifeless body of his only real friend and carrying her as if she was a kitten. He walked away slowly, disappearing into the night as tears almost stung his face. "Precious...." he muttered to her. "We agreed that we would conquer mankind and stand above all...together. The two of us...but..." He continued on down the street, a broken shell of who he was.

She felt strong arms around her, and her head lolled towards the person. He smelled human...like food. She felt him set her in the grass and sort of rolled towards him. She heard him ask what she needed. She licked her lips. They tasted dry and burnt. "B-blood..." she managed to choak out. "I...I need blood..." She clutched at his shirt, sort of pressing into him. "Before...before I die..." She didn't want to die. Especially knowing what waited her after. But she needed blood to heal. At least enough to keep her from dying. She didn't need to drink all of his blood...unless she wanted to be fully healed. But she wasn't about to do that to...whoever this was.

Ty looked over to see Jordan, possibly dying in someone's arms. And it looked as if the guy wasn't doing a damn thing. Just...standing there. He dashed over just in time to hear Jordan ask for blood. And yet the guy was just...standing there.
"Hey," he said to Jordan. "You saved my ass back there. Well, the first time. I owe ya one." He leaned close and exposed his neck for her. He didn't know why, but...he trusted her now. Well, the whole saving one's life thing WAS a big deal.

Jordan leaned forward. She wasn't going to question it. Not right at this second. Her fangs elongated as she bit down, drinking. The blood washed into her mouth, down her throat, the warm liquid taking an almost immediate effect. Her skin began to clear up--not perfect but at least to a point where it was more red, not black. She pulled back, licking her lips and panting. "Th-thanks," she said, pushing herself to her feet. She winced in a little pain as she did. She was going to need to feed deeply before she began to look normal.
She nodded at him, looking at the kid. "Close your mouth," she said, moving her hand to push his mouth up. But she wasn't feeling completely herself and under judged the force needed, accidentally pushing his lower jaw up a little harder than she anticipated. But there were more pressing needs.
"Let's get back in there," she said to Ty, figuring the kid could help if he wanted. She ran back into the midst of things, a pocket knife in hand. "Let's get it started," she said with a smirk.
